BASIC Directions:


This chassis includes the following items:
2) chassis side plates.
1/ skid plate.
2/ pairs ckrc 50% bent links.
2/ left lift brackets.
2/ right lift brackets.
4/ ˝” nylon spacers for upper shock mounting.
8/ 3x16mm flat screws for lower links to chassis and chassis to skid.
4/ 3x8 button screws for chassis to 45mm cross post.
4/ 3x30 cap screws for upper shock mounting.
8/ 3x8mm flat screws for mounting the lift kit brackets.
4/ 3x16mm button screws for upper links to chassis
4/ 3mm nuts for upper links to chassis
4/ 3/16” x 1/8 nylon spacers for shock internals.

Required items for this chassis are:
4- 45mm post or custom post that are cut down. CKRC 45mm links ***HERE***
2- pairs SCX10 scaler shocks **HERE**
1- pair front springs/ **HERE**
1- pair red rear springs/ **HERE**
1- 20wt shock oil/ **HERE**
2- pairs of upper links. depending on the clocking of the berg axles this may range from 75-90mm.  **HERE** for axial ones to cut down.
1+ sets of Axial rod ends for top and bottom. **HERE**

Lets get started.

A. Install the lift kit brackets to the axles. We use loctite on ALL screws of our builds. Note the brackets are flipped inside from stock. 


Next install the 6mm spacers onto the shock shafts. Thsi is to shorten the shocks. Build your shocks using 20wt oil. The small front springs go to the front, the red springs go to the rear. make sure there is NO spring pre-load.

Next install the chassis side plates to the skid.

Install your lower links to the axial rod ends. Use the bent rod ends for the chassis side. 

install the lower links and shocks to the chassis as shown. Use the 45mm post between the shock mounts and the 1/2" spacer on the outside of the chassis.

Next install the links to the axles. The links need to sit to the inside of the lift brackets as shown. 

Next install the shocks to the axles. these should be mounted to the outside as shown.  

Next you will need to make your upper links. The length all depends on your axle clocking. We prefer 25-33 degrees of clocking.

Axial Red springs in rear. NO pre-load on front or rear. 
Shocks moved to the top holes in the outer most part of the chassis. Shocks stand up straighter. 

Recommended 20wt shock oil.
