yComp berg kit pictures and notes.
A. The berg axles must be clocked.
B. CKRC lockouts have there own directions in this section.
C. upper links will have to be cut down to get pinion angles correct, as well as the upper chassis post need to be cut to 45mm. This will depend on how much your axles are clocked.
D. In the ax80005 rod end kit, there are 2 side bent rod ends per kit. These will be used for your lower links at the chassis.
E. use only the straight rod ends at the axle points. do not use the slight bent rod ends on the car except for the rear upper link mounts at the axle and the steering. last picture
F. Green axial springs in the rear, silvers up front.
G. The axial wheel hexes will need to have the outer hub ground off or drill the wheel to fit over the hub. this can be seen in the last picture.
H: Weight goes in the front only. 2.5 sticks each
I: stock foams, Un-cut work great with the hot bodies tires
J. the skid plate supplied needs to be narrowed by 14mm to 45mm width. you can cut down 1 side and then cut 2 new link mounting slots.
K. install 1/2" of fuel line tubing internally on each shock shaft. You need to pull the shocks apart to do this. this shortens the height of the shock.
L. you will see in the first picture below, between the upper shock mount and chassis are the 9mm spacers supplied in the kit.
M. The berg axle/link/shock tabs will need to be flipped inward. This can be seen below on picture 5, 7, and 8. the links are on the bottom hole, shocks are on the top.
N. Using the supplied esc plate, it can be used under the front links for a battery plate.
O. the 13 tooth pinion is for the front axle and the 12 is for the rear.
P. The servo mount supplied has 1 hole that matches the under axle berg mount. line up this hole and then you will need to drill the other 3.
