This product was designed and intended to be used with the CKRC stage 2 suspension kit. The viper bracket will work on a stock ax10, but not without modification. The pinion angle will be rolled up 6mm, so you will need to shave down the length of the 3 link mount and connector to obtain the correct pinion angle.
The Viper bracket can also be used as a correct geometry 4 link mount. The recommended upper link length would be 96mm, but axial 98mm links or 30mm Axial post added to your 70mm post and shaved down will work nicely.

Installation:
1. simply remove your front or rear servo plate (ax30485) and factory 3 link mount. (ax80003-3)
2. Install the new viper bracket with the supplied (2) 3x12mm button head screws.

3. install the 3x16mm grub screw into your axial rod end (ax80005-1). There are several of these ends left over in the ax10 kit. Install the grub screw about half way in, but make sure it doesn't contact the ball and cause binding.

4. Now screw the rod end onto your factory 3 link connector (ax80015). If you are running the ckrc stage 2 kit, do not re install the 6mm spacer that usually goes between the 3 link mount and connector. Tighten the rod end until it just starts to snug up and then back it off 1/8 turn.

That's it, zero axle wrap, greater strength and a quick install.
