The new adjustable Rock-It chassis from CKRC is just what you need to get your Berg to the winners circle. This is a top of the line competition chassis built to perform!
The adjustability of the Rock-It is endless. Ground clearance is adjustable by 1 1/4"! Multiple upper link mounting holes and shock adjustments are made for the true Crawling tuner. Shocks from 2.5" to 5.5" can be used.
The final chassis is the result of testing multiple designs over the last few months. Our goal was to design a chassis that gained performance in all the crucial areas, without having to sacrifice performance in others.
One major performance gain is the 2" chassis width. This keeps the lower links more parallel while keeping the chassis from getting caught up through the rocks, All the chassis mounting holes were also machined flat. Another area that needed attention was the skid plate. The Rock-It includes a smooth machined 3/8" thick Delrin skid plate. The skid plate is made from some of the slickest Delrin we could find.
The chassis is compatible with:
2.5"" to 5.5" shocks
Berg axles or Hot Racing power axles
This kit includes:
(2) Polished 1/8" 6061 Aluminum Lightened chassis side plates
(4) Adjustable shock ears
(1) 2" wide Smooth delrin skid plate with drilled holes for esc or ???? mounting.
(8) 3mm x 16mm stainless Flat screws.
(8) 3mm x 10mm button heads
(4) 3mm x 16mm button heads
(8) 3mm nylock nuts
(4) CKRC HD Bent Links
Required is:
(4) Axial 98mm post or equivalent ***HERE***
(2) Axial 45mm post or equivalent ***HERE***
(2) packs of Axial Ax80005 rod end kits ***HERE***
(1) Ax80018 rod end balls or Axa1331 balls ***HERE or ***HERE***
Clocking of the berg axles
Recommended setup:
(4) CKRC 120mm shocks spaced to 113mm, center of hole to center of hole, or equivalent.
(2) CKRC soft springs for the front
(2) Axial Ax30215 green springs for the rear
(1) CKRC Berg High steering kit
(1) CKRC Berg rear lockout kit
Clocking the axles, and cutting down the 98mm post to 85mm in the front and 90mm in the rear.
